Support service for people caring for older adults

Summary

The tender covers a social, emotional and practical support service in Parla for people caring for older adults, including counselling, training, support groups and assistance with self-care. The service includes 48 training and support sessions covering emotional support, care skills, self-care, available resources, and the transition out of the caring role after the death of a family member. The contract is awarded as a single lot for two years and may be extended by two one-year periods, up to a total of four years. Services will be delivered at municipal older-persons’ centres and, where needed, at the Social Services Centre. The tender must include a technical work programme, demonstrate annual turnover and similar experience of at least EUR 15,000, and provide a suitable coordinator, trainer and material resources. The award has a maximum of 50 points: up to 20 for the technical proposal and up to 30 for price; at least 12 technical points are required to continue in the procedure.
