Staff transport to Dueñas Prison

Summary

The tender covers daily transport for staff of La Moraleja-Dueñas Prison from Palencia and Valladolid to the prison and back for morning, midday and night shifts. Each route requires six journeys every day, Monday to Sunday: three outbound and three return. The Palencia route is approximately 144 km per day, with up to 5 stops each way; the Valladolid route is approximately 270 km per day, with up to 10 stops each way. Two coaches are required, each with at least 55 passenger seats excluding the driver. The prison director may change routes and schedules for security reasons, and the provider must ensure continuity of service and provide a suitable replacement coach when needed. The contract runs for two years from 15 March 2027, with an option to extend it by up to one year. The estimated budget is EUR 697,800.04 including VAT, and the contract is not divided into lots. Price accounts for 90% of the award score and coach age for 10%. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and experience in similar transport services, or provide an appropriate valid classification certificate. They must also hold the required passenger transport authorisations and offer compliant coaches. The bid must include the required declarations and documents proving the vehicle details. The incumbent provider has stated that its staff will not transfer to the new contractor.
