A064: Long-term monitoring of the Biewertal Bridge using acoustic emission analysis and structure-specific acoustic analysis
Summary
The contract covers long-term monitoring of the A064 Biewertal Bridge using acoustic emission analysis and acoustic analysis tailored to the structure. The work includes structure-specific acoustic analysis, workshop and installation planning, and installation of monitoring equipment in a test area no later than 90 working days after contract award. The trial monitoring phase lasts 6 months, followed by 24 months of monitoring across the entire bridge. The contracting authority may extend monitoring of the entire bridge by a further 12 months; all work must be completed by 31 December 2030 at the latest. The procurement is not divided into lots, and price is the sole award criterion, weighted at 100%. The bid must include the data sheet for the proposed sensor and a short report evidencing its use, as well as the required suitability declarations. The bidder must hold professional liability insurance of at least EUR 1,500,000 for personal injury and EUR 1,500,000 for other losses; the policy must also cover environmental damage. The detailed eligibility declaration contains the precise minimum requirements for turnover, team competence, comparable experience, staffing levels, technical equipment and quality assurance. The bid must be submitted electronically in German by 11:00 on 3 November 2026.
