Testing electrical equipment under DGUV V3

Summary

The procurement covers initial and periodic inspections of electrical equipment, machinery, welding equipment, laboratory devices and other electrical work equipment at several Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon locations, together with the documentation of those inspections. The estimated first-year volume is approximately 35,000 electrical items, 400 machines, 20 welding units and 2,000 items to be inspected before first use. Work will take place, among other locations, in Geesthacht, Hamburg, Teltow, Kiel and the Munich area. Periodic inspections are scheduled from January to November; pre-use inspections take place one day per week in Geesthacht. Inspections must comply with DGUV V3, occupational safety rules and applicable technical standards, including the standards for post-repair and periodic equipment inspections and for machinery and welding equipment. The contractor must organise scheduling and coordination, use a fixed qualified team and suitable calibrated test equipment, and provide inspection reports, equipment identification and digital records. The contract is scheduled to start on 1 January 2027, initially run until 31 December 2028 and may be extended until 31 December 2030. Price accounts for 70% of the evaluation score and the quality of the work organisation plan for 30%. Offers must be submitted in German.
