Tender detail
Operation, maintenance and fault management of Husum’s street lighting and renewal of lighting systems
Summary
The tender covers the operation, maintenance and repair of the City of Husum’s street lighting, 24/7 receipt of fault reports, and renewal of street-lighting equipment. The contractor must keep the public lighting operational, carry out routine inspections and electrical-safety tests, resolve faults, maintain a digital record of lighting points and submit an annual report to the city. Each lighting point must be inspected at least once a year, and every mast must be checked for corrosion and wall thickness every two years. Every luminaire must be cleaned within a four-year cycle, and electricity meters must be read once a year. The contractor must provide 24/7 on-call cover and a fault-reporting service. Hazard-prevention responses must be arranged within 120 minutes; faults threatening lighting performance must be remedied within 24 hours; and other faults must be remedied within four working days. If a permanent repair cannot be completed on time, a temporary solution must be put in place within the applicable deadline and the required condition restored within four weeks. Operations and work must be recorded digitally, with the city given access to the data. Certain work, including more extensive renewals and some separately priced tasks, may be commissioned separately when required. The bid deadline is 4 November 2026 at 09:00; the deadline for questions is 26 October 2026. The bid must be in German and include a signed bid letter and completed price sheet; a bid missing either document cannot be evaluated. Prices must be stated in euros, excluding VAT, to no more than three decimal places. Price is the sole award criterion. Participation also requires evidence of comparable experience and suitably qualified staff, together with the required declarations and supporting documents.
