Transport of children and young people under integration assistance

Summary

The tender covers transporting children and young people with disabilities from their homes or residences to schools, kindergartens or other specified facilities and back. Services are provided on school days or at other frequencies set out in the tender documents, including weekend trips home. The procurement is divided into lots, and bidders may submit offers for any lot. Services are due to start on 22 February 2027 and are expected to continue until 2 February 2029. The provider plans the journeys and routes and supplies compliant vehicles and drivers; some lots also require an accompanying person. Vehicles must meet safety and accessibility requirements, with suitable wheelchair restraints and a ramp or lift for passengers travelling in wheelchairs. Drivers must hold a valid driving licence and passenger-transport permit; drivers and accompanying staff must have German-language skills at least at B2 level. Journeys must follow the agreed schedules and routes, and replacement transport must be arranged when disruptions occur. A separate price calculation is required for each lot bid for. Price is the sole award criterion, and the lowest total net price is preferred for each lot. Key participation requirements include a commercial-register extract no more than 12 months old, a reference for comparable transport services performed in the last three years, turnover information for the last three completed financial years, and the required passenger-transport authorisation for each transport service. Offers must be submitted electronically by the deadline.
