Rental, supply, maintenance and servicing of central printing systems for the in-house print shop

Summary

The tender concerns the renewal of the Rhein-Neckar District administration’s in-house print shop solution in Heidelberg. The supplier must lease one colour production system and one colour finishing system for up to 60 months and provide their installation, implementation, maintenance, servicing and consumables. The price must also cover initial deployment and, at the end of the contract, removal, return transport and data deletion. Estimated A4 volumes over 60 months are 83,333 black-and-white pages and 166,667 colour pages; there is no minimum purchase commitment. An optional additional service is technical consulting: bidders must quote 100 hours, and the hourly rate may be increased once by no more than 10% after the first 24 months for the remaining period of up to 36 months. German must be used for both daily contract performance and correspondence, and data-processing and data-protection requirements must be met. Offers must be submitted electronically through the procurement system with all required forms and attachments; paper, email and fax submissions are not accepted. The bidder must enable the test specified in the tender documents and account for all required equipment, software, service levels and ancillary work.
