Supply of an ultrasonic machine with a rotating ultrasonic system

Summary

The procurement covers the supply, installation and commissioning of a customer-specific ultrasonic machine with a rotating ultrasound system at Modellfabrik Papier gGmbH in Düren. The machine must continuously process web materials and meet the technical and safety requirements in the tender documents. Delivery is required within eight months of contract award. The bidder must provide at least one comparable project reference: work performed or ongoing since September 2021 involving a rotating ultrasonic roller system made to a customer’s individual requirements. The offer must include a company profile, reference details, a completed price sheet, technical information about the machine and the required declarations. Price is the sole award criterion and carries 100% of the evaluation. Offers must be submitted electronically by 19 October 2026 at 14:00. The machine must process web material 400–500 mm wide, with the ultrasonic press impulse acting across the full width, and material weighing 30–250 g/m². It must have two rotating 20 kHz ultrasonic systems, each rated at up to 4 kW, one main drive and two sonotrode drives positioned on the right. Each sonotrode roller must have interchangeable counter-roller options: a tungsten-carbide-coated roller and a magnetic roller used with a steel sheet; the steel sheet is not included in the procurement. Operating speed must be 0.5–30 m/min, pressure adjustable from 0 to 20 kN and amplitude from 50% to 100%. Other requirements include a sheet-metal feed guide at least 10 cm long, a frame in one of the specified colours, a control cabinet, a monitor-equipped operator panel, a Modbus TCP (RJ45) connection, a safety guard plate and protected drive belts. The price must cover delivery and unloading, installation, commissioning, and factory and site acceptance testing and documentation. Compliance with the technical minimum requirements will be checked at the factory and at the Düren site; site acceptance must be documented in writing. The tender also provides for warranty, maintenance, calibration and support, required spare and wear parts, a service plan, and German- or English-language training materials or an interactive troubleshooting guide. Prices are fixed and must include all costs. Payment may be up to 30% on award and up to 50% when the machine is completed at the manufacturer; the balance is payable after commissioning and instruction at the buyer’s site. The bidder must accept the contract terms without reservation; alternative offers are not permitted.
