Framework agreement for mathematical high-performance optimization software

Summary

Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is procuring licences for mathematical high-performance optimization software for its institutes under a framework agreement, for use on institute-owned HPC infrastructure, including offline environments. The scope includes software usage rights, updates and new versions, standard support, and local licence or token-server software; remote installation assistance, training and AI-assisted support functions may also be ordered as options. The agreement runs from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029. The initial licence scope covers five institutes, each with up to 4,000 simultaneous solver runs; lower-capacity licences for additional institutes are optional, and the framework agreement has a maximum value of €1,000,000 excluding VAT.
