Procurement and maintenance of HPE hardware components and accessories
Summary
Deutsche Welle, together with participating German broadcasting organisations, is procuring HPE hardware, accessories and support under a discounted framework agreement divided into four lots. The lots cover blade, hyperconverged and specialist servers; storage systems; SAN switches; and maintenance of existing or future HPE systems. The server, storage and SAN-switch lots run from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029; the maintenance lot runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2030. HPE Tech Care support may extend up to five years for Lots 1–3 and up to four years for Lot 4. In addition to supply and maintenance, the contractor must provide configuration advice free of charge, including recommending working configurations that meet the requirements and checking their completeness, correctness and compatibility with the existing infrastructure. Delivery is due within 30 working days after an order. Bids are evaluated by the discount offered for each lot; bidders may also offer a group discount across all lots. The estimated total volume is €22,123,000 including VAT, and the minimum purchase volume is €4,007,000; the estimates do not create a purchase obligation beyond the minimum. Bidders must submit the completed, unaltered price schedule and evaluation questionnaire, the required company information and declarations. Required confirmations include those concerning exclusion grounds and insolvency; HPE partner certificates must be provided if requested by the contracting authority. A declaration of compliance with statutory tariff conditions is also required for the maintenance lot. Bids must be submitted in German through the electronic tendering portal.
