Firewall for the Freiburg University of Education – Palo Alto PA-3530

The procurement covers the purchase of two Palo Alto Networks PA-3530 next-generation firewalls for the Freiburg University of Education. The equipment must include redundant AC power supplies, five-year Advanced URL Filtering and Advanced Threat Prevention subscriptions for both firewalls, and maintenance and support. Delivery is expected between 1 February and 31 March 2027. Maintenance and support start on 1 April 2027 and continue for 60 months. In a confirmed hardware failure, replacement is required on the next business day if the fault was reported and confirmed by 3:00 p.m. on the previous day.
