C-ITS Onboard Units

Summary

The procurement covers the supply, installation and operation of C-ITS onboard units, together with maintenance for four years. It includes 10 units as a firm quantity and an option to order up to 30 additional units. The units are to be installed in the roof structure of existing vehicles and enable communication between vehicles and infrastructure. Maintenance begins on the day after delivery and lasts 48 months, including fault rectification. For every fault class, the response time is 24 business hours and the restoration time is 200 hours. Delivery is to the special workshop of the Hessian Police Headquarters for Technology in Wiesbaden. The bidder must submit an offer in German using the required forms, with reference details, a company profile, turnover figures for 2023–2025, a description of quality assurance and the required declarations. Alternative offers are not permitted. The bidder must declare that no exclusion grounds apply and undertake to comply with the applicable wage and minimum-wage obligations.
