Provision of an HPE GreenLake Storage Environment on a Usage-Based Pay-per-Use Model
Summary
The tender is for a five-year HPE GreenLake Disconnected Storage solution based on HPE Alletra Storage MP for Brandenburg’s state IT service provider. The supplier must deliver, install and configure new storage infrastructure at the contracting authority’s data centre in Berlin, operate it and provide manufacturer support and proactive services throughout the 60-month term. Initial usable capacity is 200 TB at each of the two 4-node systems, 8 TB at the 2-node Site A system and 4 TB at the 2-node Site B system. Planning figures for the end of the contract are approximately 380 TB at each 4-node system and 16 TB at each 2-node system. The target capacity model is 80% reserved capacity and 20% variable buffer capacity; additional capacity may be ordered through an agreed change request. The solution must use new HPE equipment and operate with cloud connectivity disabled by default. The service includes installation, commissioning, documentation, user instruction, automated daily metering, reports and capacity forecasts. Manufacturer support must run for 60 months, be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, provide an on-site response within 4 hours for qualifying faults, and ensure at least 99.9% availability per calendar month. The bid must be submitted in German electronically through the Brandenburg procurement platform by 2 November 2026; alternative bids are not permitted. The award will go to the lowest-priced compliant bid based on the total net price. The bidder must provide registration, turnover, insurance and experience details, as well as a declaration concerning exclusion grounds. At least three significant contracts from the last three years must be submitted as references.
