Procurement of Hardware for Educational Institutions 2026

Summary

The Upper Bavaria District of Bavaria is procuring computer and other IT equipment for its educational institutions in 14 lots. The equipment includes laptops and workstations, Apple computers, tablets and accessories, monitors, interactive displays, presentation and videoconferencing equipment, 3D printers and scanners, a cutting plotter, charging and storage carts, and docking stations. Bidders may tender for one or more lots, and price is the sole award criterion. Delivery to several educational sites in Upper Bavaria is required no later than two weeks after contract award. Offers must be submitted electronically in German by 9:00 a.m. on 4 November 2026 and remain valid for 61 days. For each offered product, bidders must include a data sheet and configuration sheet and, where required, provide manufacturer documentation or equivalent technical evidence of compliance. The buyer may request a notebook or desktop PC for functional and performance testing. For some device categories, the hardware hash, Windows key and serial number must also be provided before delivery. Qualification includes a declaration of comparable experience during the previous three years and, if shortlisted, three references, as well as the required liability insurance.
