Use of Erftlagune Pool Water Areas by Private and Commercial Swimming Schools

Summary

The City of Kerpen is making available swimming-pool time at the Erftlagune for private and commercial swimming schools to run courses. The initial period is 11 January to 14 May 2027, with up to four possible extensions and a final end date no later than 15 May 2031; no pool time is currently offered during North Rhine-Westphalia school holidays. Available weekday slots are Monday 15:00–20:00 with two lanes and a non-swimmer pool, Tuesday and Wednesday 14:00–20:00 with two lanes and a non-swimmer pool, and Thursday and Friday 14:00–20:00 with one lane; each booked hour provides 45 minutes in the water. Courses may serve children, young people, adults and people with disabilities, as well as prepare participants for swimming certificates and offer parent-and-child swimming. Use fees are €80 for two lanes Monday to Wednesday, €40 for one lane Thursday and Friday, or €20 for an individual lesson on Thursday or Friday; participant limits are 16 on two lanes and 8 on one lane. Weekend pool time is not being offered, and school and club use takes priority.
