Configuration of the ElmerFEM thermal simulator for the IHP-Open-ADK design flow

Summary

IHP GmbH is procuring the configuration and integration of the open-source ElmerFEM thermal simulator into the IHP-Open-ADK design flow. The work includes a thermal material-properties database for technologies SG12G2 and IntM4TM2; an automated workflow from layout data through simulation; and results for temperature distribution, heat flux and temperature gradient. It also covers validation using IHP design examples and measurement data, a prototype or concept for electrothermal coupling, performance and scalability analysis, documentation, publication of the agreed outputs in a shared GitHub repository, and a separate two-month support phase.
