Expansion of the Physics Network Infrastructure

Summary

The tender covers a partial upgrade of the University of Rostock’s physics network infrastructure through the supply of Cisco Catalyst 9400 series equipment: 2 supervisor modules, 2 12-port 40GE/4-port 100GE line cards, and 5 refurbished 48-port UPOE line cards. The equipment must be delivered to the university’s IT and Media Centre in Rostock and carried into the storage room by the supplier; delivery only to the kerb is not acceptable. Delivery in full and invoicing must be completed by 25 November 2026. Installation and programming are not required. The bidder must be a Cisco specialist dealer and capable of supplying the specified products. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 12:00 on 16 October 2026.
