Framework agreement for empty containers for hazardous waste
Summary
The procurement is for a framework agreement to supply empty plastic containers for hazardous waste, including canisters, lidded drums, wide-mouth drums and accessories, for the special-waste collection point of RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. The contract runs from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2027 and may be automatically extended five times by 12 months, unless either party terminates it at least three months before the end of the relevant contract year. Estimated annual quantities include 1,000 5-litre canisters, 1,300 10-litre canisters, 40 20-litre canisters and about 50 antistatic 10-litre canisters; 340 30-litre lidded drums, 480 60-litre drums, 10 120-litre drums, and 20 each of 75-litre and 34-litre wide-mouth drums. Accessories include 20 canister keys, taps (30 for DIN 51 and 20 for DIN 61), and RD-51 and RD-61 closures (2,300 and 50 respectively). Quantities are estimates, there is no guaranteed minimum purchase, and actual demand may vary. Products must meet the material, closure, dangerous-goods approval and DIN EN and VCI guidance requirements specified in the technical description. Orders will be placed by email as needed, and goods must be delivered no later than 14 days after receipt of an order. About five deliveries per year are estimated, although timing may vary seasonally. Delivery must be made to the university’s collection point using a 3.5–7.5-tonne truck fitted with a tail lift. Goods must be palletised and shrink-wrapped; the driver must assist with unloading and moving the goods into the storage container. Each delivery must be limited to a load that fits in a 3.5-tonne box truck. All transport and additional charges must be included in a single delivery price. Price is the sole award criterion; the procurement is not divided into lots and variants are not permitted. The bid must be submitted electronically in text form by 26 October 2026 at 10:00. The bid must include the price schedule, offer form, suitability self-declaration and reference declaration. Where applicable, documents concerning a bidder consortium and the use of other companies must also be included. Bidders carrying out work in Germany, and relevant subcontractors, must submit the minimum-wage declaration. Invoices must be sent by email with the order number in the subject line.
