Mobile application for digital reading development among preschool children

Summary

The tender covers the design, development, testing, piloting and operation of a mobile application for digital reading development among preschool children, together with a supporting web-based administration solution and data-management environment. The solution must run on Android tablets, support offline reading journeys in kindergartens, collect audio and other data, connect to Fraunhofer’s assessment module and support adaptive learning logic. The work also includes illustrating and narrating approximately 114 German-language stories, designing the user interface and avatar elements, hosting within the EU/EEA, data protection, backups, piloting and technical handover. The bidder must provide the required qualification evidence, a technical overall concept and a user-experience and reading-journey concept for the target group. The evaluation assigns 35% to the total price, 25% to the technical concept and 40% to the UX, design and reading-journey concept.
