Temperature-monitored transport of pharmaceutical samples

Summary

The Saxony State Directorate is procuring a framework agreement for the temperature-monitored courier transport of pharmaceutical samples from pharmacies, manufacturers and other sampling locations in Saxony to the Berlin-Brandenburg State Laboratory. The service also covers transport of empty sterile containers for Saxon medicinal-water sampling and delivery of the collected water samples. Around 210 pharmaceutical-sample transports are forecast for 2027, with no obligation to provide more than 250 temperature-controlled transports per calendar year; demand for empty-container collection is estimated at two to three trips annually. The framework agreement runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028, with an option to extend it through 31 December 2030.
