Residual waste management for the Helmstedt district from 2029

Summary

The Helmstedt district is procuring treatment and disposal of approximately 10,000 tonnes of residual mixed municipal waste per year in one lot, starting on 1 January 2029. The district is responsible for transporting the waste to the treatment facility; the contractor must also ensure proper disposal of treatment residues. Bidders may optionally offer to operate a local drop-off point for self-delivered waste, expected to handle about 1,500 tonnes per year; this optional service is separate from the main treatment contract.
