Feasibility studies for railway electrification on three sections in the Cluj regional network

Summary

C.N.C.F. CFR’s Cluj regional branch is procuring feasibility studies for railway electrification on three sections: Arad–Oradea (line 328), Oradea–Carei–Satu Mare (line 400), and Satu Mare–Baia Mare–Jibou–Dej (lines 401 and 412). Each study will assess existing conditions and develop and compare at least two technical options, covering traction power and overhead contact systems, related control and signalling changes, and other works needed to implement electrification. The planned duration is 15 months per lot.
