Gas Network Emergency Excavation and Reinstatement Works

Summary

MVM Főgáz Földgázhálózati Kft. is procuring a single-lot, 10-month framework contract for excavation and reinstatement works related to emergency repairs and maintenance of gas distribution pipelines in its service area, including Budapest and other covered municipalities. The work includes breaking and restoring road and other surfaces, excavation, shoring, maintaining safe work areas and returning them to the relevant operator; work may be required outside normal working hours and on public holidays. The net framework ceiling is HUF 1,364,366,340, of which 70% is committed for call-off. Indicative quantities include 8,300 m³ of trench excavation, 5,300 m³ of backfill compaction to at least 95% and 26,500 linear metres of safety barriers; actual quantities may vary. The contract may be extended up to three times, for a total extension period of no more than six months.
