Refurbishment of a data centre while it remains operational

Summary

Deutsche Rentenversicherung Berlin-Brandenburg is procuring general-contractor services to refurbish its data centre in Frankfurt (Oder) while keeping it continuously operational. The work includes building a new computer room (CR 2), expanding the existing room CR 1 and providing the associated power, cooling, fire-protection, security, telecommunications and other infrastructure, with the aim of meeting availability class 3 under DIN EN 50600. The scope also covers outdoor works, removal of redundant existing equipment and an optional four-year maintenance and servicing period.
