Summary

The City of Roeselare is commissioning design services for the renovation and adaptive reuse of Villa Vande Walle as a shared cultural workplace for the city, Academieplus and the De Spil cultural centre. The integrated assignment covers the building’s architectural and heritage-sensitive renovation, building physics and energy performance, building services, and the design of the outdoor areas and landscape setting, including the relationship with the park. The renovated villa is intended to support arts education, artistic development, creation, residencies, presentations and experimentation.
