Geotechnical investigations for the renovation of taxiway MIKE and the heliport

Summary

The French Ministry of the Armed Forces is procuring geotechnical investigations for the planned renovation of taxiway MIKE and the heliport at Le Lamentin airport in Martinique. The single, non-lotted contract covers site preparation, pavement coring, boreholes and in-situ tests, piezometric measurements, laboratory testing and factual investigation reports. Phase 2 will be defined in light of Phase 1 results; the scheduled work includes, among other items, 320 linear metres of destructive drilling in Phase 1 and core drilling, static penetration and pressuremeter tests in Phase 2.
