Planning for replacement of the eastern ASF-1 backbone cables

ASFINAG is procuring planning services for replacing the existing 96-fibre ASF-1 backbone cables in its CN.as fibre-optic infrastructure, which is nearing the end of its technical service life. The replacement is planned to use new cables, for example 144-fibre ASF-4 cables, for ASFINAG data transmission and potentially for leasing to third parties.
