Schools Energy Pathfinder 2025: Biomass Package 1

Summary

Mayo Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board is procuring a biomass energy package for six school sites: four in County Mayo and two in County Roscommon. The scope includes supplying, delivering, installing and commissioning modular containerised biomass cabins and equipment, followed by wood pellet supply and heat sales, with operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of the cabin equipment for 15 years. The works and energy supply are covered by two separate contracts; the estimated overall value is EUR 4.55 million.
