Multi-Party Framework for Port Hydrographic Survey Works

Summary

The tender concerns a Multi-Party Framework for Port Hydrographic Survey Works, intended to provide hydrographic, geophysical, and related marine survey services across Dublin Port Company’s operations and capital programme, and to support health and safety coordination during the design process across civil, marine, building and infrastructure projects within the framework term. Framework Members shall be capable of delivering core survey services including, but not limited to: MBES and SBES monitoring surveys of all navigation channels, berth facilities, docks, and anchorage areas; MBES measurement surveys in conjunction with capital and maintenance dredging works (pre-, inter- and post-dredge surveys); assessment of seabed characteristic information from backscatter returns; SBES monitoring surveys; assistance with archaeological and obstruction identification (geophysical, magnetometer, side-scan sonar, and drop-down video); intertidal area and adjacent structure mapping using LIDAR-based methods; establishment of new and existing berth fender lines and quay features; calibration and validation of port tide gauges and tide boards; establishment and/or validation of temporary benchmarks; post-processing, quality control, and data management; delivery of survey data in agreed formats; preparation of survey reports, cross-sections, contour plots, and overlays; professional indemnity, marine liability, and other insurances. Additional services may include sub-bottom profiling, wreck investigations, geotechnical sampling and data integration, environmental monitoring surveys (suspended sediment, turbidity, etc.), GNSS/RTK control network establishment and verification, BIM and GIS integration and data delivery to DPC’s asset management systems. Applicants should note that this list is non-exhaustive, and the successful tenderer may be required to provide other survey services as requested. Important: DPC seeks candidates capable of delivering all core services listed in Section 3.1A, whether in-house or through a consortium. Applications may be limited to one or more survey types.
