Upgrade of Athens Metro trainsets and installation of air conditioning

Summary

STASY is procuring the full upgrade and air-conditioning installation for 12 six-car trainsets, comprising 72 cars in total, operating on Athens Metro lines 2 and 3. The scope includes design, testing and commissioning of the upgraded trains, special tools and diagnostic equipment, spare parts, a three-year warranty, documentation and staff training. Initial-support spare parts are also included. The procurement has one lot, with an estimated value of EUR 109 million excluding VAT and a contract duration of 36 months.
