Design and construction of the Løvbakker Waterworks

Summary

Herning Vand A/S is procuring a turnkey contract for the design, construction and commissioning of the Løvbakker Waterworks north of Herning. The works include site preparation, the waterworks building, electrical and mechanical installations, treatment and management of process and surface water, access roads and landscaping. The facility is designed for a production capacity of 3 million m³ per year, with the possibility of expansion to 4.5 million m³ per year after 2040. The procurement is a single contract, with completion expected in 2029.
