Tender detail
Renewal of pedestrian crossings on national roads
Summary
The tender covers ordinary repair and renewal of pedestrian crossings on national roads managed by Via Lietuva. The works may include repairs to road surfaces and footways; changes to traffic management and safety measures; installation or alteration of lighting and traffic signals; renewal of road markings and signs; and, where needed, work on culverts, pedestrian barriers and bus stops. The scope also includes design and surveying, arranging approvals and including the related costs in the bid rates. Contractors must also account for the risk of archaeological finds. Rainwater drainage must be addressed within the project boundaries without worsening the existing situation. The procurement is divided into two lots: pedestrian crossings on national roads and crossings in cultural heritage areas. A bidder must offer the full scope of any lot it bids for, and price is the sole award criterion. Quantities are provisional, with payment based on the contract unit rates. The contract ceiling is EUR 11,900,826.45 excluding VAT for Lot I and EUR 2,975,206.61 excluding VAT for Lot II. This is a green procurement. Offers must remain valid for at least three months; no tender guarantee is required, but contract performance security must be at least 5% of the contract price excluding VAT.
