Vértesi Road Design – Second Procedure

Summary

The tender covers the design work needed to grade-separate the railway crossing on Vértesi Road in Debrecen and prepare development of the junction with Main Road 4. The designer will produce, among other items, a BIM Execution Plan, decision-support documentation, permitting and construction design documentation, and the required solutions for roads, pedestrian and cycle facilities, stormwater drainage and utilities. The scope includes designing an approximately 650 m section with a 2x1 lane layout and the grade-separated railway crossing, as well as an approximately 300 m connection and the main-road junction. Pedestrian and cycle movements and coordination of traffic-signal control must also be addressed. The overall delivery period is 330 days, with separate interim deadlines for the different documents. The offer must include a fully priced price schedule. Evaluation takes account of price and five quality criteria relating to experts’ experience. Bidders must meet professional registration requirements, a minimum design-services revenue threshold of HUF 150,000,000, and specified past-project experience requirements.
