Shuttle service between Gent-Sint-Pieters and The Loop
Summary
The tender covers a shuttle service between Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station and The Loop to improve public transport access for employees of businesses located there. The contractor must operate a shuttle with at least 18 passenger places during weekday morning and evening peak periods, following a fixed route and timetable with two to three stops and a digital booking system. The vehicles should be as environmentally sustainable as possible. The contractor must provide first-line user support, make the shuttle’s live location or current journey information visible to users, collect service and user data, and submit monthly and annual reports to the contracting authority. The contractor must also inform businesses at The Loop about the service and work with the City of Ghent to promote it. The service will run for three years, following a start-up period of up to three months. Businesses pay for tickets; the contractor invoices them monthly and transfers ticket revenue to the contracting authority. Tenders must be submitted electronically and remain valid for 90 days. Invoices must be submitted electronically.
