Framework agreement for fault response services, maintenance and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment

Summary

Veitur ohf. is seeking fault response services, maintenance, repair, installation and related works for mechanical and electrical equipment used across electricity, water, wastewater and district heating utility systems. The framework agreement is divided into two lots: electrical installation services, and metalworking and electrical services associated with mechanical equipment. Tenderers may bid for one or both lots; up to two operators will be appointed to each lot, with a maximum of four overall. The framework has a maximum value of ISK 3,500,000,000 and a planned duration of three years from 1 January 2027. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 14:00 on 5 November 2026. A tender guarantee is required, but its amount and detailed conditions must be checked in the tender documents. Evaluation considers price, tenderer capability and environmental matters.
