Design and installation of the ETCS L2 system on the railway section between Vrútky and Ľubochňa

Summary

The contract covers the design and implementation of ETCS Level 2 Baseline 3 or a later version on the railway section between Vrútky freight station and Ľubochňa. The contractor must prepare the designs, carry out geodetic surveys and necessary engineering procedures, arrange land-related legal matters where needed, build and implement the system, obtain the required approvals for putting the works into use, and deliver as-built documentation. The new solution must integrate with existing railway signalling and communications infrastructure while making maximum use of existing assets and maintaining railway operations. The estimated value is EUR 29,394,875. Bids are scored on price for up to 85 points and completion time for up to 15 points; the total completion period must not exceed 820 calendar days. The tender guarantee is EUR 120,000. Bids must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 18 November 2026.
