Foot surgery plates and screws

Summary

Klaipėda University Hospital is purchasing, in 12 lots, osteosynthesis and arthrodesis systems, plates, screws and related instruments for foot and ankle surgery. The lots cover, among other items, ankle fixation and corrective osteotomies, various cannulated compression screw systems, plate-and-screw systems for foot bones and the heel bone, single-use burrs, drills and screw-length gauges. A tender may cover one, several or all lots, but must include the full range required in each lot bid for. For lots 1–9, the instrument set and implant tray for the implants must be provided to the hospital free of charge for temporary use. The tenderer must submit the completed electronic offer form, the European Single Procurement Document and the required declaration on compliance with Russia-related restrictions. Compliance of each offered product must be evidenced by a manufacturer’s catalogue, brochure, instructions for use, technical description or equivalent document. The evidence must identify the product and manufacturer and show its technical characteristics; the offer form must refer to the relevant evidence page. If the manufacturer’s documents do not establish compliance, a written confirmation from the manufacturer or its authorised representative, or equivalent evidence, is required. No qualification thresholds or quality or environmental management certificates are required. Price is the only award criterion. Ordered goods must be delivered to Klaipėda University Hospital within 5 working days of the order. The buyer does not undertake to purchase the estimated quantities and pays for goods actually ordered and accepted. The contract term is up to 26 months, with a possible 12-month extension by mutual agreement if the value of a lot has not been used.
