Third-party baggage handling and ramp handling services, including inflight catering, at Chania Airport

Summary

The procurement concerns third-party ground-handling services at Chania Airport “Ioannis Daskalogiannis” in three lots: baggage handling; ramp handling; and ramp handling for inflight catering. Baggage handling includes sorting, preparing, loading and unloading baggage to and from transport equipment and aircraft, and transporting baggage to the reclaim area. Ramp handling includes aircraft marshalling and parking assistance, communication support, and transporting crew, passengers and baggage. The services are intended to be provided for seven consecutive years, with up to three ground-handling providers selected for each service. The competent national authority, the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, awards the right to provide the services under the applicable ground-handling regulation.
