Insurance services across multiple lines for 12 months

Summary

The Municipality of Moita is procuring insurance services for 12 months, expected to start on 1 January 2027, in three lots. Lot 1 covers occupational accident insurance for municipal staff and beneficiaries of employment-support measures, and personal accident insurance for elected officials, firefighters, volunteers, facility users and participants in temporary events. It also includes property and leased-property insurance, machinery, boats, the vehicle fleet and municipal civil liability, including liability related to the use of plant-protection products. Lot 2 covers drones, and Lot 3 covers artworks in a permanent exhibition. The total maximum budget is EUR 745,000: EUR 742,660 for Lot 1, EUR 340 for Lot 2 and EUR 2,000 for Lot 3. Bidders may tender for one or more lots, but must cover every risk in each lot selected; a bidder may be awarded only one lot. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically by 23:59 on 29 October 2026 and remain valid for 90 days. The successful insurer must provide the specified coverage, issue and administer policies, and handle claims. Where the procedure exceeds EUR 500,000, a performance guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price is required. Contract performance also includes cybersecurity obligations, including notifying the contracting authority of a relevant cyber incident within 72 hours.
