Complementary services for the municipal cemeteries of Marinha Grande and Casal Galego

Summary

The contract covers complementary services at the municipal cemeteries of Marinha Grande and Casal Galego for 18 months, provisionally from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2028. The work includes opening and closing the cemeteries; supporting or carrying out grave preparation, burials, exhumations and transfers of remains; handling bones and ashes in ossuaries; collecting and sorting waste; and maintaining the cleanliness of cemetery grounds, toilets, service buildings and surrounding areas. The contractor must provide sufficient equipment and at least one worker at each cemetery during the opening hours set by the cemetery regulations. Services are required Monday to Saturday, excluding Sundays and public holidays, and must comply with the rules governing cemetery activities, including requirements for the use of relevant plant-protection products. The maximum budget is EUR 193,500 excluding VAT, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest price. Bids must be submitted electronically in Portuguese and signed with a qualified electronic signature; they must remain valid for 66 days. Variants are not permitted, and no tender guarantee is required. The bid deadline is 5 October 2026 at 23:59. The successful tenderer must provide the documents listed in the tender documents within five working days, including tax and social-security evidence, registry and criminal-record documents, and the required activity authorizations. Price is the sole award criterion.
