Collection, monitoring and recovery services for used cooking oils in public-street collection units

Summary

The tender covers the collection, transport, storage, sorting, treatment and recovery of used cooking oils, together with the installation, maintenance and cleaning of at least 171 smart collection units in the areas of Alcácer do Sal, Aljustrel, Ferreira do Alentejo, Grândola, Odemira, Santiago do Cacém and Sines. The contract lasts 36 months. Tenderers must provide a waste-management licence, collection and maintenance methodologies, quality and safety arrangements, a service description and a technical drawing. A real-time digital monitoring platform, a free mobile application, at least quarterly maintenance, extraordinary collections within 48 hours and collection at 70% fill level are required. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 29 September 2026 at 18:00; price is the only award criterion. The maximum contract value is EUR 153,900 excluding VAT, with a unit base price of EUR 300 per unit.
