Supply of road salt for winter road maintenance

Summary

The tender concerns periodic deliveries of anti-caking road salt for winter road maintenance. The quantity may reach 1,200 Mg, but the contracting authority guarantees the purchase of at least 300 Mg. The contract lasts 12 months from 1 December 2026. The salt must be delivered at the supplier’s expense to the contracting authority’s site at 8 Tanowska Street, Police, Poland. Each order must be delivered within seven days of a written order sent by email. The supplier must arrange transport, loading and unloading, and notify the contracting authority of the delivery time one day in advance. The salt must have a grain size of 0–6 mm, with no more than 30% of grains below 1 mm. It must contain at least 90% NaCl, no more than 3% water, no more than 0.8% water-insoluble substances and at least 20 mg/kg of anti-caking agent. It must be free of mechanical contamination and comply with standard PN-86/C-84081/02, PN-EN 16811-1:2016-10 or an equivalent standard. The bidder must provide a positive opinion confirming compliance with the standard or equivalent evidence, as well as a hygiene certificate or equivalent certification. Each delivered batch must be accompanied by a certificate confirming compliance with the parameters, and the supplier must maintain ongoing quality control, including laboratory testing. The bidder must have duly completed at least two road-salt deliveries during the previous three years; each delivery must have involved at least 500 Mg during one winter season. Price is the sole award criterion. The bid must be submitted electronically and include the required bid form and declarations concerning the absence of exclusion grounds and fulfilment of the participation conditions.
