Replacement of heat sources in buildings administered by the Świdwin Forest District

Summary

The tender covers the replacement of existing wood-fired boilers in five detached single-family homes administered by the Świdwin Forest District. The work includes removing the old boilers; supplying and installing new boilers and necessary auxiliary equipment; connecting them to the existing heating systems; replacing electrical, hydraulic, sanitary, ventilation or chimney components specified in the design; carrying out tests, inspections and heating-system adjustments; and training users. The boilers must be suitable for logs 40–55 cm long. The contractor must also transport and properly handle scrap from the removed boilers and other waste. The procurement is divided into five lots. Bids may be submitted for any number of lots, but each bid must cover the entire scope of its lot. Each lot must be completed within two months of contract signature. Price accounts for 60% of the evaluation and warranty for 40%; the warranty must be at least 36 months. A bid security of PLN 500 is required for each lot bid for. Before signing the contract, the successful bidder must provide a performance security equal to 5% of the total bid price for that lot. For each lot, the bidder must demonstrate funds or credit capacity of at least PLN 30,000. Within the preceding five years, the bidder must have completed, under a single contract, at least one solid-fuel boiler installation or heat-source replacement project worth at least PLN 20,000 net. The bidder must also provide one technical manager with the required unrestricted construction qualifications. The bid must include a properly priced estimate and the required declarations; workers performing hydraulic work must, where the work legally constitutes employment, be employed under employment contracts. Bids are evaluated separately for each lot, and the successful contractor must complete the work within two months of contract signature.
