Resurfacing local roads in Oława

Summary

The contract covers resurfacing local roads on six streets in the city of Oława: Jagodowa and Limbowa, Szyszkowa, Sosnowa and Leśna, Kryształowa, Srebrna and Magnezowa, and Urocza. Works include asphalt carriageways, crushed-stone sub-base and shoulders, mechanical grading and compaction of the ground, and adjustment of inspection chambers, manholes and valve covers. The AC 11 S asphalt-mixture layer must be 5 cm thick, and the crushed-stone shoulder topping must average 10 cm. On Urocza Street, the contractor must also remove and dispose of part of the existing asphalt surface, clear shrubs, and level and grade the turning area; any excavated material must be removed and disposed of. The contractor must obtain the necessary permits and decisions and arrange the site, traffic management, surveying and compliant waste handling. The works must be completed within 45 days of signing the contract. The bid requires a PLN 20,000 tender guarantee; performance security is 5% of the total bid price. The bidder must offer a guarantee of at least 60 months. Bids are evaluated on price (60 points) and an extended guarantee period (40 points). Participation requires at least PLN 500,000 in liability insurance, two qualifying contracts demonstrating relevant experience, and a works manager with unrestricted road-engineering qualifications. Physical workers and construction-equipment operators must generally be employed under employment contracts.
