Replacement of cold- and hot-water and circulation piping to remove Legionella

Summary

The contract covers replacement of the horizontal cold-water, hot-water and circulation pipework in the basements of Buildings A and C and the A–B and B–C connecting sections at the rehabilitation and care centre at 255/267 Przybyszewskiego Street, Łódź. The works must follow the technical design, bill of quantities and technical requirements, with the stated aim of removing Legionella bacteria from the installation. Danfoss MTCV-B valves, or equivalent products, must be used for the circulation riser shut-off valves. The works must be completed by 18 December 2026, and the bid must state a lump-sum price. The bidder must have properly completed at least one contract during the previous five years for water and sewer or sanitary installation works, worth at least PLN 250,000 gross; the values of several contracts cannot be combined. The contractor must also hold business-related third-party liability insurance of at least PLN 300,000. As a general rule, employees performing the contract work must be employed under employment contracts throughout the contract period. This requirement does not cover work management and supervision or the transport of materials and people. Bids are evaluated on price (60%) and warranty (40%). Bidders must select a warranty period of 24 months (10 points), 36 months (30 points) or 48 months (40 points). Before signing the contract, the highest-ranked bidder must provide a cost estimate consistent with its bid price, a copy of the insurance policy for at least PLN 300,000, and a list of employees hired under employment contracts. The bid must be submitted electronically in Polish and include the required declarations on participation conditions and exclusion grounds.
