Construction of bicycle shelters and solar-panel benches at schools in Zielona Góra

Summary

The contract covers construction of bicycle shelters and solar-panel benches at five schools in Zielona Góra: SP17, SP13, ZSiPKZ, ZSMS and SP14. The works must follow the project design and technical specifications and be completed within 50 days of contract signature. The contractor must commission the installed shelters and benches, check that the system operates correctly, provide operating, maintenance and warranty instructions, and prepare the required as-built documentation. The work also includes organising the construction site, removing waste, restoring the area and maintaining safe access to and use of the school buildings while works are underway. Tenderers must demonstrate that they completed at least two steel or aluminium shelters fitted with solar panels during the preceding five years and must provide one construction manager qualified without restrictions in the structural and civil engineering specialty. Before signing the contract, the successful tenderer must provide, among other items, proof of liability insurance of at least PLN 500,000, a work schedule, a detailed price estimate and a list of employees hired under employment contracts. Staff carrying out site-development works must generally be employed under employment contracts. The works must be accessible to different user groups and comply with environmental requirements. The minimum warranty is 36 months; bids are evaluated on price (60%) and extended warranty (40%). The successful tenderer must also provide a performance security equal to 5% of the contract price before contract signature. No tender security is required, and bids may not be submitted by lot.
