The tender covers the preparation, production and delivery of full-day meals for hospital patients at Ryszard Rzepka Hospital in Sulechów for 24 months. The contractor is responsible at its own cost for transport, serving equipment, food sample retention and collection of post-consumer waste. Payment is based on quantities actually ordered and delivered; 61,280 person-days are used for tender comparison, while the daily requirement may vary. The contractor must employ people preparing and delivering meals under employment contracts where the work meets the statutory definition of employment. The authority may inspect food quality, temperatures, ingredients, kitchen processes and employment compliance. At least 50% of the net meal rate must represent the cost of raw ingredients. The authority may commission laboratory testing at the contractor's expense up to twice per contract year. The contract may be reduced to 60% of the estimated value, and the maximum total contractual penalties are 20% of the estimated remuneration.
