Service for preparing and delivering all-day meals for hospital patients – catering

Summary

The tender covers the preparation, transport and ward distribution of full-day meals for hospital patients, taking account of diets and calorie content, together with the collection of dishes and food waste and the preparation of preventive meals for staff. The service will run for 12 months from 1 December 2026. The estimate is 49,056 patient-days per year and approximately 4,088 full-day meal sets per month; actual quantities will depend on the number of patients. Approximately 150 preventive meals per month are also anticipated during the five-month period from November to March. The bidder must be able to prepare various hospital diets, ensure food safety and hot- and cold-temperature requirements, distribute meals to patient wards and provide catering for conferences, mobilisation tasks and heightened military readiness when required. The bidder must use its own external kitchen and transport, equip the ward kitchens with, among other items, four refrigerators, four microwave ovens and at least five heated serving trolleys, and provide an electronic ordering system. The tender submission deadline is 11 September 2026 at 08:15. Price carries a weight of 60%, an ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 or equivalent food-safety certificate carries 20%, and the distance between the meal-production site and the contracting authority’s premises carries 20%. A distance of up to 10 km receives full points for that criterion. The tender must be submitted in Polish and signed electronically.
