Evaluation of Bane NOR’s property business

Summary

The Norwegian Ministry of Transport is procuring an evaluation of the Bane NOR group’s property business, including portfolio development since 2017, corporate organisation and governance, value realisation and dividend capacity, and comparisons with relevant property companies. The evaluation will also assess how the business balances commercial and transport-policy objectives, with case studies of Oslo, Stavanger, Trondheim and Skien stations. The estimated budget is NOK 3 million excluding VAT; a draft report is due by 9 March 2027 and the final report by 22 April 2027.
