Maintenance of sanitary facilities
Summary
Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) is procuring maintenance services for sanitary facilities at its sites in Leiden. The work includes preventive maintenance of sinks, baths, fire, emergency and eye-wash showers, toilet units, fountains and taps, carried out 1–4 times per year according to LUMC’s instructions; inspection of backflow preventers in accordance with water utility sheet WB1.4G; Legionella measurements; and modifications and replacements of sanitary facilities charged on an actual-cost basis. The contractor must supply the necessary equipment and parts. This is a single-lot framework agreement with an initial term of four years from 1 July 2027. LUMC may extend it twice for two years each. The maximum framework agreement value is €2,500,000 excluding VAT. The bidder must demonstrate two areas of relevant experience: multi-year preventive maintenance of sanitary facilities worth at least €150,000 at a healthcare or research institution with laboratories or cleanrooms, and inspection of drinking-water backflow preventers in accordance with WB1.4G. A VCA*/** or equivalent safety certificate and proof of commercial or professional registration are also required. The bid must include the required references and customer satisfaction statements, a price form, and a quality plan addressing K1 and K2. Award is based on price and quality; the bid must achieve at least a satisfactory score on each of the two quality criteria. The submission deadline is 15 December 2026 at 12:00. Bids must be submitted electronically in Dutch.
